Question:

I am a U.S. citizen and own a property in Mexico. I would like to leave it after my death to my Mexican citizen property manager. How would I go about doing that?

Response:

You need to work with a Mexican attorney. While your U.S. will might be honored in Mexico, it would be better to be certain and execute whatever you need to there. That said, it probably makes sense to include the Mexican property gift in your U.S. will as well to avoid any confusion or disagreement.
